The Buddy Teaching & Learning Center is a professional development resource for Indiana educators. The Center provides professional development training sessions at the BTLC as well as on-site at individual school and district facilities. Current teaching methods and trends, best practices, and technology integration are at the center of all BTLC workshops. Staff development sessions are applicable for K-12 educators, administrators, and support staff and are aligned with Indiana Academic Standards and their integration. All members of the BTLC facilitation staff have a background in education including classroom teachers, library media specialist, fine arts teachers, and school administrators.

In 2004 the BTLC began taking its programming on the road and it has been a very popular segment of our work. Interested schools/districts can select from any of the current workshops that we offer and have them presented at their own facility. Districts looking for a customized workshop can request that topic/content and the BTLC staff will develop a workshop to meet their needs.
